You are here:

For the second time, Charité 3R together with the Einstein Center 3R invited to the networking event "human 3D organ models" at Charité Campus Mitte on May 9, 2023 from 5 to 8 pm. The invitation was accepted not only by researchers from Charité and BIH, but also by scientists from the Max Delbrück Center, the Robert Koch Institute, the Free University and the Technical University of Berlin and other institutes such as the Federal Institute for Risk Research.

In total, more than 220 participants exchanged ideas about organoids, organ-on-a-chip models, tissue engineering and xeno-free approaches. The 45 projects presented as posters in the atrium and the auditorium of CharitéCrossOver were starting points for lively explorations and discussions.

The great interest in the topic shows the high value that human 3D models have in Berlin. The motivation to further develop the models so that they can be used for biomedical research in terms of improved translation is clear.

Some impressions of the lively event can be found in our picture gallery. An overview of the posters can also be obtained by those who did not have the opportunity to attend the event by reading our abstract booklet.

Charité 3R and EC3R would like to thank all participants and especially all poster presenters for their active contribution to the lively networking!
