We support the 6R model of the BIH QUEST Centre, which adds Robustness, Registration and Reporting to Replacement, Reduction and Refinement, and would like to draw your attention to the QUEST Centre's calls for proposals and prizes, such as the prize for pre-registration. The prizes are awarded on a continuous basis.
With the 6R model (position paper Strech & Dirnagl, 2019), the BIH QUEST Centre adds Robustness, Registration and Reporting to Replacement, Reduction and Refinement and awards various 1000€ - QUEST prizes to stimulate these goals, e.g. the prize for pre-registration, for the publication of ZERO results, or for replication studies. The prizes are usually awarded to first/last/corresponding authors with BIH or Charité affiliation (and employment) of publications of corresponding studies (e.g. on preregistered preclinical studies). Publications from 2017 onwards are accepted. The prizes will be awarded on a rolling basis. The award winners will be published on the QUEST website.
